The Record has an article about former competitive eater Jamie "The Bear" McDonald's trip with the World Central Kitchen to the Polish border town of Medyka to cook meals for Ukrainian refugees fleeing from the Russian invasion. McDonald used his winnings from the 2013 Wing Bowl to start Bear's Smokehouse in Hartford, CT.
