A podcast of the March 12 Andy Troy Show is available. The guests were Eric "Badlands" Booker, Crazy Legs Conti, Tim Janus and Yasir Salem (picture) . Probably the most interesting new information is Conti's claim that Pepto-Bismol's sponsorship has not been secured for the 2012 Nathan's circuit (minute 41). Crazy Legs also announces he will produce two new videos for Badlands Booker. When the topic of "Furious" Pete was brought up (minute 48), he was dismissed as a "minor leaguer".

Minor leaguer ha what a freaking joke. The only one of the four that could ever beat Pete is Eater X. Pete is top ten in MLE easily. Funny who’s the next minor leaguer; Kobayashi, just because not everybody, worships the greedy, ,sheas, asses, they as powerhouse eaters are minor leaguers. Crazy legs compared to Furious Pete is like a house cat going against a roaring lion. lol

Well no offense, but out of this group of 4, only Tim Janus could beat Furious Pete on a regular basis, Booker can still hang, but his production has dropped off a bit, he has his moments, Crazy Legs hasn’t done anything in years, gets beat by everyone even “Minor Leaguers” and its a good thing he is the MLE boy or probably wouldn’t even be ranked as high as he is, don’t know much about Yasir, so no comment there. Pepto probably got smart, Joey is not marketable and is very boring in interviews, they should go with Pat. MLE should do whatever they can to bring back Kobi, he brings excitement to eating and hes good for ratings if nothing else, plus he is still the most popular eater in the history of eating, 90% of people associate his name with competitive eating, the other 10% know who Joey is.

Wow Crazy Legs practically dismissed the Furious Pete question saying we only concentrate on the top 50 in the IFOCE and quickly moved on to the topic of women in the sport.

If you listen carefully it was Andy Troy that called Pete a minor league eater and not Crazy Legs. The only reason Pete is not with MLE is because they were afraid he would steal headlines and show up the other guys. Think about the fact that other lucrative opportunities might have presented themself to him through outside sources while he was under MLE contract. Don’t you think he would have jumped at it the same way he did when he screwed his old organization?

Furious Pete could never beat the great Badlands Booker in anything including rap

I don’t think Pete X would be close at all except for in a very short contest. But a contest of any length, and suddenly X’s margin of victory is huge.

Also, remember: if someone is in a minor league, he is by definition a minor leaguer.

Crazy Legs has lost to many ranked below him. Check the numbers, he is over ranked and overrated.
