Competitive eating in last night’s HIMYM
The competitive eating segment on How I Met Your Mother was televised yesterday and not February 9 as TheTVAddict reported. EatMeDaily has a video from the show containing the eating contest. (from email)
The theme of last night’s program was the removal of resume items which were not beneficial to landing jobs. Lily’s (Alyson Hannigan) accomplishment to be deleted is winning the 1995 “Coney Island Eatfest” (which has a familiar looking logo) by eating 29 hot dogs in 8 minutes. She attempts to see if she is still capable of performing her feat and then updates her resume with her recent total.

I really hate when they mock the nathans contest that way because it is so far fetched that a caucasian white female can consume anything close to that amount. Yeah right Jul4 1995 a female ate 29 hot dogs. That is so dumb. Note how they avoided recreating someone wearing a hat and sportjacket declaring her the winner just in case the shea tried to sue them
