Andrew Lane reports that Tom Gilbert won a hot dog eating contest held at Ellis Island Casino in Las Vegas last night with a total of 32 hot dogs.

    Great job Tom,You can really eat those dogs..I was very impressed with the ease you devouered them, but one of your friends had to try to take some of your thunder away.Mr Rich Fever eats the 8 pound burger so he gets all the publicity.What a moroon…He so jelous of the younger eaters, its pathetic..Tom you could be the number 8 seed at NY..

    I don’t understand any negative sentiment toward Rich. I strongly suspect it’s coming from no more than two or three people, both of whom he can and has mopped the floor up with.

    I’ve always regarded Rich and Carlene as the first couple of CE, and they’ll always have my respect in that regard.
