$185 UK burger receives bogus record
(From Consumerist.com) The Telegraph reports that a burger costing £95 ($185) sold by a London Burger King was certified by Guinness as the world’s most expensive burger. The British burger appears to be normal size (its weight is not listed) ABCNews reports that the burger contains Wagyu beef, organic mayonnaise, white truffles and pink Himalayan rock salt and has an Iranian saffron bun. All proceeds from the sale of the burger will go to the charity Help a London Child.
At least three American restaurants have more costly offerings:
- $399, Absolutely Ridiculous Burger, Mallie’s Sports Grill & Bar
- $379, Beer Barrel Main Event Charity Burger, Denny’s Beer Barrel Pub
- $320.95, 8th Wonder Deluxe, Clinton Station Diner
The sandwiches from Mallie’s and Denny’s have received acknowledgement from Guinness as the world largest commercially available burgers, so the records organization must have been aware of them.

I like the futuristic BK commercial in which the female says of The King, “He’s so good with his hands.”

Everyone knows that the most expensive burger in the world is the FleurBurger 5000 which was created by Chef Hubert Keller of San Francisco’s Fleur De Lys. The burger can be purchase at the Las Vegas Fleur De Lys in the Madalay Bay Hotel. Info on the burger and why it costs 5000 dollars can be found in the link below:

That’s not fair. You’re buying more than the burger.

Does the FleurBurger 5000 come with a set of Don “Moses” Lerman’s dentures? That’s the only reason I could see spending $5,000 on a burger. 😀
