The schedule for the ESPN family of channels is now available for July 4, 2015. The men's Nathan's contest will be live on ESPN2 starting at noon and be rerun at 1pm, 2pm and 4pm (on ESPN) that afternoon. For the fifth straight year, the women's contest will not be televised on a cable channel; it does not currently appear on the ESPN3.com July 4 streaming schedule. (The ESPN3 schedule does list Ultimate Disc League and cricket competitions).

Good news about the Nathans finals ESPN 2 live is same as ESPN 1 or ESPN Now womans finals is another story . After careful review it appears that George Shea periscope on twitter is the way to go and ESPN decided they can’t compete with it. Cricket competitions rule

A woman posing with 3 hot dogs and a trophy is the main reason why ESPN dropped the woman contest altogether which kind of sucks because the Sonya Sudo rematch should be far more entertaining than watching Chestnut coast over Stonie by 15 dogs once again. Would George please get down on his knees like Frank Lopez did in Scarface and place a call to Kobayashi and pay him 50K to get back in the ring ?

Says a lot when you look at the mle rankings and the pictures still show Sonya with the belt and there’s no mention of Miki being the women’s champ. If mle doesn’t care then why should anyone else?

Women’s contest will probably be part of the main broadcast this year.
