2015 Nathan’s qualifier circuit announced
The remainder of the 2015 Nathan’s qualifier circuit has been posted on majorleagueeating.com: update Registration will open March 19 at 1pm EDT for all qualifiers. Registration will also open for the May 17 Niko Niko gyros contest in Houston.
- April 12, Atlanta – Dogwood Festival
- April 25, Las Vegas – NY NY Hotel
- May 2, Houston, Memorial City Mall
- May 16, St. Louis, Busch Stadium
- May 23, Charlotte, Speed Street
- June 7, Pocono, PA – Pocono Raceway
- June 13, Nashville – Tootsie’s Country Music Fan Fest Alley
- June 14, Queens – NY Mets ballpark
- June 27, Rochester, NH – Phantom Gourmet BBQ
- June 28, Cleveland, Crocker Park
- June 28, Sonoma, CA Sonoma Raceway
The circuit is similar to the 2014 Spring schedule. Nashville and Atlanta have been added and Savannah, St. Paul and Bloomington, IL dropped. The contest held at the Phantom Gourmet BBQ moved with the festival from Boston to New Hampshire.

Why do commenters lie on this site? This year someone said CLC is going to the qualifier in SD, which is not true, as there is no qualifier in SD And last year they said MLE was holding a secret qualifier so CLC could qualify.

The South Dakota qualifier was a joke, presumably based on Conti qualifying at an August 2007 contest in Saratoga, NY that was not highly publicized and did not have a strong field.

Setting up a qualifier is one thing but the dogs still have to be consumed. You can’t finish half of what most eaters can which makes you a fraud and a never has been. Go embarrass yourself on June 14 so we can all get a good laugh again. If you cannot finish 20 for the first time in your long competitive eating stint then it is time to go away and make room for some new blood.

OJ is correct. In fact, all three Nathan’s qualifiers this season have had only one female partipant. They were won by Daniella Gioia, Juliette Lee, and Mary Bowers. All three are ranked MLE eaters.
