Finally got the scoop 10 yrs later as to why sheas screwed Goldstein 1lb bologna title. Don Lerman complained to Ed Jarvis that he was spending more time on the phone with Goldstein and saw Goldstein as a threat to their friendship. Lerman demanded Jarvis call the Sheas and arrange to let Lerman break the 1lb bologna title on cable tv or else Lerman wouldn’t talk to Jarvis anymore. That is the stone cold truth

Maybe Goldstein can compete in boston again with ed jarvis and during the ride home give jarvis the silent treatment because jarvis picked up a hot chick who ignored Goldstein because he ate 9 hot dogs

Who cares?? Competitive eating is on a downhill slide anyway. They hold these qualifiers and only let in “their” people anyways.
When it’s all said and done it will be the same 2 or 3 eaters. Chestnut, Stoney and Cincotti.

infuriating that vegas contest is called NY NY under brooklyn bridge . Vegas is Vegas NY is NY. They should actually hold a qualifier under the real Brooklyn Bridge

They probably will not have the contest at NYNY in Vegas, They will possibly move it to the park by T Mobile..Anonymous 6:15 there is only one Brooklyn..

exactly so why misrepresent the state? Still waiting for them to hold a qualifier in Kings Plaza Nathans which is actually the oldest remaining Nathans except for Coney Island
