80% of 2013 Hooters finals field set

With four out of five qualifiers complete, 80% of the competitors in the finals of the Hooters wing circuit have been determined and are listed after the jump. At least one of the MLE top 7 (Janus, Stonie, Shoudt, Sudo) will not make the finals. Michelle “Cardboard Shell” Lesco’s wing count of 152 is the highest announced so far this year, surpassing Joey Chestnut’s total by 12. (Hooter’s wing contests are supposedly judged by weights consumed, which are not publicized.)

    Tim has stated on at least one occasion that he doesn’t like the taste of wings (at least not in competition). So, of those four, I expect he may be the odd man out by choice. But if he chooses to eat, scratch the Notorious one!

    OJ, I’m sure it was just an oversight, but you do realize Sonya Thomas also ate 140? You just mentioned Joey Chestnut. No biggie.
