I did not finish 4th. My initial posting of the results right after the contest could have been misinterpreted that way. Sorry for any confusion.

Skinny boy lane is a real class act. What other competitor wouuld have the decency to admit that a mistake was made that wasn’t in their favor . try zero! All they freakin care about is looking good for the rankings and the bottom line is when the sheas put the rankings together they could care less if someone finished 4th ahead of someone that finished 6th . Its about who finishes first . Some people that are overranked should be taught a lesson and get buried in the bottom and then lets see them bitch about who is ahead of them.Skinny boy i commend you.

Not to rain on your commending Skinnyboy, but the results posted here were already made public the day before. I do think (from the two times I have seen Skinnyboy) that he is one of many who are not cocky and love what they do. I also agree about the rankings, its all for publicity and to make the sport bigger. It’s a good thing that most of the eaters I have met are good, honest people, but I won’t name names, because I know backlash would ensue as well as with comments wondering who the hell I even am and who do I know. A few bad apples and loudmouthed people are definately still in the mix right now though.

If a contest pays out 6 or 7 spots and there is griping amongst the people, then in that regard it is well justified. But when there is no money involved and someone bitches about finishing 6th because he thought he should get 5th is not only a sad individual but more than likely never got praised for anything in his or her entire life. They can make an argument that its a personal satisfaction thing. Satisfaction for what? does anyone care if you finish 4th 5th or 6th? Maybe you do but noone else gives a damn Not even Nathans finals does anyone care about 3rd let alone 4 5&6 . The next time you bitch about “Hey i think i got 5th but this guy edged me out and that wasnt fair” think about how stupid it sounds .

It’s all good. Yes, results had been posted in another thread but the headline for this thread says I finished 4th – most likely because my Dingleberried results could have made it look that way. I don’t want to take anything away from Mike, David and Joel. So I put the full results.
