(from Todd Bertch) old-bay.com has the results from Friday’s Peel & Eat Shrimp contest in Baltimore. Todd Bertch won the $10,000 first place prize. wjz.com has an article with a video clip. The contest was closed to “professional” eaters and required an essay about Old Bay seasoning to gain entrance to the qualifiers.

I think I would be great at this one event!
Even though I’ve never done this before, I can Peel’em and eat’em with the best!
It’s a Texas / LA thing!
Let me know if there are any Crawfish or Shrimp eating events coming to Texas soon or whatever?
I’ll come as a fan to anything else just to meet you guys. I like Hoover, Eater-X, Joey (of course) and espessially Sonya. She’s my dream girl!

Now that I have watched this vidio, I must know when this contest happens next.
Either these people have bad peeling technique or they cooked the shrimp wrong. Cocktail sauce would be better than water for sure in this event.

Notice that since officer shhtttink and inspector noodle took on the case of boy king he hasnt surfaced on this website for quite some time. I would hope that they are not goofing off and are making some headway in finding his true identity

I have know Idea what you are talking about. I’m totally new to this. You can see my url and everything. I’m not here to cause any trouble. Just being a big new fan and pondering the possibilities. Just like my new super hero Sonya did. I’m not going to guarantee anything at this point except, that I will go watch the next contest in my area to check it out some more.
