Is this food similar to that in the salty ball potato contest in Atlantic City about a half dozen years ago?

Rhonda, I grew up in that area and a “salt Potato” is small or early potato usually no more that 2 inches in diameter, cooked in a salt solution or brine (usually 1 lb of salt for every 2 lbs of potatoes per gallon of water) drained but not rinsed then covered in butter with fresh chopped parsley optional, these things kick ass

Thanks Jammin’ Joe! They sound great, but my Lord, all the salt! When people get done I suspect they drink water by the quart.

try them out funny they don’t end up “salty” most of the trace minerals are absorbed by the skin and the salt seems to wash away in the butter. by the way that was me on the other thread concerning the womens table and I was being sarcastic..
