2026 Nathan’s Famous field announced
The field for the 2026 Nathan’s Famous finals has been announced. There are no international byes other than competitors who have competed in a MLE contest in 2026. Crazy Legs Conti received a wild card spot despite a 6th place finish in his qualifier. His qualifier total of 10 hot dogs might be an all time low for a male finalist. Katie Prettyman received a spot despite not competing in a contest since Nathan’s 2025.

Nathan’s 2026 men’s odds
Caesars Sportsbook has posted odds for 12 competitors in the upcoming men’s Nathan’s Famous hot dog eating contest. I am not sure if this is the official and final field. If it is final, there will be no Asian competitors for the second year in a row.

The field for the Mass Hole Donut Eating Championship in Medford, MA on April 18 is expected to include Geoff Esper, Pat Bertoletti, Nick Wehry and Crazy Legs Conti.
The field for the Ultimate Bologna Showdown in Knoxville, TN on May 9 has been announced: Joey Chestnut, Pat Bertoletti, Geoffrey Esper, James Webb, Nick Wehry, Radim Dvoracek, Cameron Meade, Tanner Gray, Crazy Legs Conti, Andrew Kogutkiewicz, Matthew Raible, Rene Rovtar and Cherish Brown.
The listed entrants for the Wing Bowl in Las Vegas on Saturday include Molly Schuyler, Dan Kennedy, Bob Shoudt,
Jesse Pynnönen and Naader Reda. Moh Motion and Raina Huang also earned spots in a July qualifiers, but Raina will not be competing since she will be doing an event in Hawaii on that day.
The Wings for Wishes wing eating contest in Miami on March 7 has yet to be listed on the Major League Eating calendar, but the field has already been announced: defending champion James Webb, Joey Chestnut, Miki Sudo and Nick Wehry are expected to compete.
Defending champion Joey Chestnut, Pat Bertoletti, Geoff Esper, James Webb, Nick Wehry, Gideon Oji and Derek Hendrickson are expected to compete in Siegel’s Bagelmania World Bagel Eating Championship in Las Vegas on January 31.
Molly Schuyler and Dan Kennedy are expected to compete at the Extreme Eating Championships Muffin World Championship at Champs Elysium in St. Petersburg, FL on January 17. The prizes for that competition will be $1250/$800/$400.
On December 6 James Webb will be doing a waffle eating contest at the Singapore Comic Con, so he will not be doing the wing eating contest in Indianapolis. Other expected entrants include Zermatt Neo, Eater-X Kung and Kelvin "Zarkman" Medina.

Qualifying for the 2026 Fat Shack Challenge closed November 30. The top 8 times made the finals in Colorado on January 10.
