    Only 15 bananas… lol… I was hoping for a usual 6-8 minute contest!
Good seeing Pat in the zone and victorious… but damn.

Were these banana dipped in chocolate fudge or chocolate syrup?

if they were dipped in chocolate it might have gone down easier eating them straightup might be reason for low totals

The contest was billed as a standard 10 minute competition. The duration is still on the contest page. I wonder if it was truncated due to lack of bananas

OJ – due to potential health risks from potassium, the contest changed to the first person to peel, eat, and swallow 15 bananas.

James has his live video on youtube. Looks like Pat may have found a bite left in his peels that he finished quickly. Not saying he did, but that was just a horrible contest all around… they even had to do a wacky pose after finishing. Talk about goofy!

always something just goes to prove over the years how inept this organization is The number of sponsors over the years with the exception of a handful give or take a few more ended up dumping mle

The potassium hazard is real, but gotta love how James & Geoff consumed over 10 pounds of pure sugar in 8 minutes at fudge in 2024. Looks like they may not be doing that one any longer.

i wonder how many of these bananas were overripe with the brown stains or residue on them The best bananas are the yellow ones before they actually ripen Othrwise i throw them out I refrigerate mine to avoid the over riping

Potatoes have just as much potassium as bananas. Are they going to change the poutine contest now????

9:21 I would prefer the softer browning bananas in a contest. The texture and taste is not for everybody, but they are ridiculously easy to put down.

i used to work with this elderly woman she would bring two overriped banannas for lunch to the point where they were nearly black in color made me sick to my stomach
