At the US alka seltzer US open of competitive eating 2005 Chestnut got blown out in cheese fries by a fly by nighter Sam Vise, His twin brother Lucky told Brian Subich that if Joey is clueless as to the food he eats he falls flat on his face. At the event the eaters were told at the last minute what type of food they would be consuming prior to the event. FF 2014 chicken spedies contest at Tioga downs, Chestnut who won the event approached me prior to the contest ” Hey how you doing” I said ok BTW is it true that you fall flat on your face if you have no idea what your eating? I forgot his response i think he said maybe or i have no idea what youre talking about, Obvious he took it as a slight Then he turns the entire conversation around ” Is that you posting those negative comments about me on eatfeats? So i threw it right back to him ” i have no idea what your talking about ” Why do you visit that site to begin with? HE had this dumbfounded perplexed look on his face as though someone had presented him with an extremely difficult math equation We never spoke after that
