Great job Liz! What wonderful initiative you exhibit! There’s a heck of a lot of work in all this just to keep up with things. (Those teams look fairly evenly matched, by the way.) Again, nice job!

liz, why are you counting wing bowl? there has been no mention of it on the ifoce site and it is not too objective..

Mad Stork, I won’t award IFOCE points if the IFOCE doesn’t award them, but since it’s an event that they are actively participating in, I think it should count towards other scoring (personal best, amount eaten, etc.). This is definitely a bit of weird competition to be starting with, and I know not everyone can compete in it and that the scoring is not conducted by the IFOCE or necessarily objective. I know! But it’s a big event and the IFOCE reports on it like they report on other exhibitions, so I will count it.

No way, Liz. Bad idea. There’s a reason the IFOCE isn’t awarding points for Wing Bowl: because it’s not a legitimate contest. It IS fixed. Forget Wing Bowl. Wait for the real contests.

WING BOWL IS NOT OPEN TO ALL
IT SHOULD ONLY COUNT IF ALL ARE WELCOME
THIS IS A UNFAIR TO THE REST OF EATERS
WHO ARE NOT ALLOW IN
UNDERSTAND IF A CONTEST IS OPEN TO ALL
AND A EATER DOES NOT GO . THEN FEEL FREE TO GIVE POINTS TO OTHERS
BUT THIS ONE IS CLOSE TO ALL BUT FIVE WHO ARE PICK.

anybody else thought of this that one reason the ifoce is not releasing totals from chili fries and the st pats thing is because they saw this fantasy thing and they were not making anything from it so they want to make it hard for this thing to go on

They eventually released numbers from chili cheese fries and I’m hoping they get moving on the St. Patty’s numbers! I seriously doubt they care much about the fantasy league, but that’s okay because it’s primarily for the eaters and fans 🙂

I dont they are even aware of the Fantasy League, I think the lack of numbers and weights is from shoddy bookkeeping and not some nefarious plan….but I am occassionally wrong….

The CCF totals defintely were suspect, at least speaking for myself. I found out I was counted for at least a pound less than I actually ate due to some kind of error (I believe they didn’t see one of my empty trays). It explained why I didn’t get any points for that contest. I did notice that the CCF fries post contest seemed far more chaotic than the other contests I’ve done and I can see how confusion/errors could have happened with all of that going on. But oh well. . .I plan on just kicking ass at my next contest to make up for it. I’ll just make sure I know the total they record for me right after, so I can correct any error if there is one. The problem was I didn’t find out what happened until over a week later, which at that point I didn’t have evidence to prove the mistake. If I would have known right then, I could have simply pointed it out and received an accurate weight.
