What a terrific photo of Booker and Stonie with his shirt signed. Booker is beaming, they both are. They are the MEN! Booker is a mensch, something others should emulate. If you do not understand those words, use Google. First responders is an important job, think the obvious in NYC. First posters is at the other end of the spectrum. It will be another year at Nathans, the characters will change, the personalities will be more of who they are. I like to cheer for the best eaters and the most upstanding citizens of the world. Sometimes you do not get that package together, whether they win or not. Just sayin……..and yes, thanks for the photos.

Just to clear up everything….
I just watched over the video, and what ended up happening is around where booker hit 20 HDB’s, Rich Shea announced me as neck and neck with him with 22 HDB’s
The counter behind me had 26 (27) up on the counter and set the counter back to 23 when i was actually at 28
I think it was just a simple mistake of not being able to count all my plates and just assuming i was a couple ahead of Badlands.
BTW, i counted every HDB i ate on the video and I did hit 32…. Ill also be posting the video up just so you all can see too…

Matt is right about (or above) where Joey was in his first year. Joey excelled to unimaginable heights since then, and I can’t see anyone else rising to that level for many, many years.
Matt has awesome natural talent, and is a quick learner. That’s a potent combination. I see him no lower than 7 in the rankings by year’s end, and he may be in the top three before 2012 is over.
