Matt: Combining running and competitive eating? Stephanie would be the Joey Chestnut of the sport. Besides her obvious eating ability, isn’t she a top class runner?

Sounds like fun. If it fits into my September exams schedule i might give it a go. Still £20 fee is expensive in my book, but i guess since it’s london not nowheresville… It reminds me a lot of the Krispy Kreme Challenge. Never been to London even though i have family there so it is a good excuse to go see them (or is it the other way arround?).

There should be an standard duatlon or the like with competitive eating throw into the mix. Someone should create it. Since the COI won’t accept CE as an olympic sport anytime soon, it would be a smart move on IFOCE’s side (or whatever organization interested in CE). CE would get closer to other sports that the COI does consider worth of the olympics, and put pressure on them to acelerate the aproval of CE as such. It would level the field and make it eassier for everyone to catch on Joey at nathan’s as well. It’s a win-win situation. I’m totally into taking big name runners into CE.
Stephanie will sure benefit from it. She might have to work a little bit to regain proper form and condition but she does have talent and she can back it up.
@Matt
I got your joke the moment i checked tubs on youtube. I took it seriously at first :P.
