Kevin Ross is 100% the winner of this competition. The scam of a contest is fixed for Colin to win. He has connections with the sponsors and the weighing of this contest is extremely shady so they can decide who wins. Kevin Ross is the winner. battleofthebone5.com has more information of why Kevin Ross won.

I tried watching some of the videos. It is interesting to watch and I’m sure I’ll learn stuff about my own technique and things I should have changed. I tried seeing if I could use the videos to get a plate count, but I think it would take someone from CSI to figure it out via the video. There is one video that shows the whole stage at once the whole time, but it’s too unclear to see what’s going on accurately. The other videos bounce around too much from person to person. After watching the videos, it’s still hard to tell. It looks closer in the video than it felt in real life, but I was in a chicken haze so who knows. I’ve never used the word “cheated” or “cheater” the whole time like other people have. Just that something seemed off with the plate count and I felt I probably had more plates. I’m still unsure, but I don’t want to be a “poor sport”. I can only assume I lost fair and square unless I can actually prove otherwise, which I certainly cannot. So all I can say is see ya next year Colin. I have a feeling though a lot of really amazing eaters are going to converge and it’ll be quite the battle!

Kevin. I think it’s pretty sad that you speak pretty plainly and are pretty up front that you’re trying to view the situation from unbiased eyes, and yet this Colin Gardiner (if that’s really who’s posting) has the reading comprehension of a gnat. I’ll agree this should be a dead issue already, but that being said, I don’t think you’re harping on the fact that people have cheated. You’ve said that, you’ve made your case and the usual crowd is screaming “off with this had” to whoever they’re against.
The best thing to do dude, is just let this thing die, work on your wing technique and then smash it out of the park. You have to win so convincingly that there can be no mistake. And if the same thing happens you have your proof and a potential lawsuit or you win and prove your point.
Just chock it up to shitty organization. We’ve all been there.

Yeah, you’re absolutely right Will. I’m wasting a lot of time trying to write intelligently and explain where I’m coming from. . .yet Colin seems to just be too busy puffing up his chest to actually carefully read what I’ve written. There is no point in continuing to go on about it, as you said. Just gotta practice like you said, try again next year and hopefully convince them to use larger trays so there is no confusion!

Kevin what are you bitching about? You won season tickets to diamondbacks which you can sell on ebay for $3grand if you dont want to go to the games. Be grateful they didnt give you two tickets to just one game

Will, did you watch the video? What kevin said was he clearly had more trays. Not the case. I agree with using larger trays with more wings in them. The Bottom line is im a 4lbs or better amateur eater who does this twice a year. I don’t pratice like you pros. Im just a master of the munch. So watch the video then make comment about how Kevin got a raw deal…. I don’t care who shows up……. I will always go Big!!!!! That’s how I roll….. BOTB 5 Bring your A Game!!!!!

Colin, Kevin did not say he clearly had more trays. He wasn’t sure. He is not crying.

You, however, seem very high on yourself, and need to be taken down a couple of notches.

Enjoy it while you can. About a half dozen eaters I know wouldn’t need their “A” games to bring you back down to earth, though all but one is IFOCE.

Enter Jon Squibb. You wouldn’t want any part of him.

I agree with Rhonda. He would stand no chance in wings against Joey, Pat, Sonya, Bob, Badlands or A-Train. Colin, you seem awfully full of yourself. Step up to the big boy table to see if you are all you claim to be.

Rhonda Evans and Rhonda’s right make their point well, but it’s overkill. Battle of the Bone is billed as a local contest.

That being said, he wouldn’t stand a chance against serious pro eaters. Even he admits that. Why bother saying that he couldn’t beat Joey, Pat, Bob, or Sonya? Come on, there’s a long list of pros who can’t beat those names!

Kevin attracted a ton of attention to this contest. Next year will probably see a massive field, especially if such sweet prizes are offered again.

I do find it interesting that the only wing contest Colin has ever won is the this Battle of the Bone. Sounds like favoritism to me and he probably has some connections with the sponsors. After viewing the amount hubris this guy shows, I’d give the contest to Ross solely based on the doucheness factor. However, I do agree with Colin on a couple of things though. He is a “master of the munch” alright. And, apparently as the munch master he prefers to go big. That’s how he rolls? Okay Colin, you keep on battling that bone and rolling buddy.

I will hit the 5 lb mark in 11 mins. I don’t get scared of anyone!!!! Im a machine when it comes to being in competitive events. I don’t make excuses when I loose. I just get better. So tell all your friends Rhonda and. Munch cause I only see 2 of your Pros that can beat me. I can put down 4.3 lbs of wing meat in 11 not 12 minutes. Can you say 5 time BOTB CHAMP!!! God Bless all Americans on this day of 9/11….(:
