Alex Perez hopes that schedules for September 29 can be rearranged to facilitate him competing in both the tamale eating contest in Lewisville, TX and the fried pie eating contest in Dallas.

    There is an MLE fried pie eating contest in Dallas? That sounds gross but maybe not.

    Why should he be even ALLOWED to compete in the MLE contest if he is going to compete in an APE contest the same day?? Who the hell does he think he is?

    Maybe he honestly does not know. I would think that All Pro would just love to have him eat with MLE and then with them or perhaps they too now have a contract. I have no idea. Sometimes eaters are not the brightest bulbs on the planet, or else he is really pushing it etc. “All Pro Eating Promotions, the World’s most recognized Independent Competitive Eating Organization, will be the official Competitive Eating Sanctioning Body of the event and will handle all contest related activities including registration.” Now we can just hear the nameless someone who says OJ causes trouble in the competitive eating community. Well that someone and a few others simply do not understand what a contract really means. They would love to get away with doing things illegally or even morally wrong, as long as they do get caught, that is. Cripes people, a contract is a contract, you are either MLE or you are not, get with the program and stop trying to do whatever you want. There are many options for everyone but really? Maybe he is just, shall we say, misinformed.

    As a noob, he thinks that either organization is going to move the start times of the contest for him, inconveniencing other eaters that may be flying in and on a schedule? Keep dreaming, dude.

    Yeah, right. Let’s see, Joey Chestnut and Alex Perez, one of these eaters is not like the other. Hey George, this is Alex, you’re gonna have to move the tamale contest time because I’m eating in another organization’s contest that day. Hello? … George? … George? Are you still there?
