I hear the burgers were like regular size mcdonalds . Hickman was the only standout . 2-4th place is a joke . Lowest ranked IFOCE eater could eat 9 burgers.

Why rain on the AICE’s parade? Maybe some IFOCE eaters could eat nine burgers, but let’s give credit where credit is due. Ian was just outstanding and the others gave all they had so how can you discount that?

I’ll admit my performance was pathetic, but the burgers were slightly bigger than regular sized McDonald’s burgers. Anon, did you talk to Ian or Carey? Because that’s the only way you’d know how big the burgers were. Truth is, they patties were thicker and much touger than McD’s thin, pressed patties. The buns were fluffier too. All in all, it was fun (if not a little disappointing).

After watching the contest I went up and grabbed a free lunch. I found the burger was a little rubbery and the rolls dry. Seemed like slow burgers to me. They were bigger than McD’s for sure. Good job Dave for getting revenge on last years camp.

Good job, Ian – but did you have to come up and rain on Carey’s parade? 🙂
MM – good job pulling this together for the UEPa group. YOU need to set up some endurance contests – 30 minutes or so. That seems to be where your forte lies.
Hope y’all enjoyed yourselves.

Bill, I don’t know why we keep inviting him 🙂
No, I like the comaraderie more than winning itself, I think. It has been awhile since that has happened. I’m glad Pete was there to attest to the difficulty in eating them. I was ripping them in half and had a hard time even doing that. In the end, I feel that I didn’t slow down at all, kept a good pace, and finished with a respsctable total. Sorry not everyone feels that way.

Thanks J.B., Wild, and to others as always.
P.G.- Glad you came out. There wasn’t much to do but hey, there was good food and good bullshittin’.
Mega M.- Awesome pics. We both know you love the bun.
Carey- I think I am now more tempted to go where ever you go just to add to the competition level! You’ll see me at breakfast (too sleepy too speedeat), lunch (whose gonna eat today’s special faster) and dinner (Applebee’s showdown anyone). You just wait…
Gee, and you just gotta love ‘anonymous’ comments…or not.
