No surprises here. I think Ms Canady needs to move up in the AICE rankings. She probably deserves to be ranked in the top three, as I expect she can more than hold her own with the best of the independents. And that should not be construed as a slap at any eater(s), as it is not. Ian, Joe, and Goose, in my book, are three of the best speed eaters in the world — independent, Fed, regardless — they’re top notch.
I doubt the Japanase girls, as awesome as they are, would defeat either of those three mentioned in 10 minutes or less. They don’t practice for speed. But when it comes to capacity, well, that’s a different ball game.
Elizabeth can do both: eat for speed AND capacity. As a matter of fact, if I were Arnie and Coonie, I would use her much, much more (and still capitalize on the use of GJoe and Ian) to market the organization. People will pay lots more attention to Elizabeth’s feats as they do those of the guys.
Listen to Rhonda on this: I know perhaps very little about perhaps very few things in life, but I know this.

Chapman apparently ate 6 Pizza Pies vs. Gal Sones 7 Pies. Considering that Sone is Japan’s #1 Female Eater that’s not bad for an Eater who has not been verry active the last two years. Even when Chapman has Eaten in the last two years it’s almost always real short contests.
Why wouldn’t you give Chapman any credit for giving her a good fight. Your intended, unfactual disrespect of Chapman would also apply to Sone if what you say is true (certainly 7 slices is not much better than 6)
Maybe if you have a personal issue with Chapman you should contact him directly (like a man) and not waste space on this site with personal grudges. Of course you would have to get off the computer, put some pants on and pursue a life beyond the blogosphere.

To suggest that chappman could even order six pies is laughable. I think when we see these ‘pies’ They will be nothing like American pizzas. I give Sone the benefit of the doubt that she did not want to completely embarrass her American guest. Whats even funnier is that chappman claims to be a Socialist, but put himself at the top of his list of competitors as soon as money and opportunity was available. They must have loved that old scanky hat he wears with the floppy ears.

Does anyone have the flight information about when Mr. Chapman, Mr. O’Karma, and that great American team will return from Japan. I for one would like to be there to welcome them as great ambassadors of our country. I bet it will be much like an Olympic team coming back from abroad with lots of screaming fans beautiful women and numerous families I just got a new camera and what vetter way to take some photos of our great sportsmen.

Chapman is and always has been a very good eater. Okay, he’s no Koby, Chestnut or Bertoletti, but who is? I contend that overall, he is definitely one of the better eaters in the world. Why can’t folks just give him (and others) the benefit of the doubt once in awhile? I think he did a great job.

My lunch ladies never were memorable, they were more like Denise on Survivor, and the pizzas were less memorable

OK, Bobby, so as organizer, he had to be there anyway, so if he didn’t compete, there would be one less competition, or one more person going. Either way, that would mean less expense money for everyone else going. Just one more way Arnie is helping out his fellow eaters. As far as taking advantage of opportunity, he is responsible for a lot of the opportunity that is available, including this one.

I don’t care if I ever eat again. All of the participants were entirely selected by the Japanese Producer. Carey is correct regarding their thinking to include me. The jealousy and envy that I hear on this thread and website is obvious and absurd. Why would Gal Sone purposely eat slow when the contest was 1 match vs. 1 match at that time. It’s amazing that the only thing you Second & Third Tier Food Drinkers can focus on is me. This contest is much bigger than any one single Eaters performance and is a ground breaking event in CE..Typically in Pizza Eating contests they do not list the exact weight. When I’m able to find out the weight I will post it. Also, the French Fry Eating contest weight was only approximate. The idea that I created a conspiracy to cover my weak eating which involves Gal Sone purposely eating slow is the thinking or a deranged, paranoid person who needs to get a life beyond the blogesphere.
I have no regret losing to Japan’s #3 Eater (#1 Female)..The girl was great competitor and a real sweet heart. If you don’t like me fine, but her record speaks for itself and losing to her by 1/7th of her total was not a bad performance. Even if I don’t like the Shea’s I can still recognize the great contribution the Nathan’s event has been for competitive eating. I also know what is involved in developing a contest and unless you have developed opportunities for Eaters you should shut up. Perhaps you can start your commentary off with, The following opportunities I have created for other Eaters and then list them.
I will be waiting for the list
