Furious Pete / Dedicatedforlif of youtube eating challenges fame announces in a forum thread on bodybuilding.com that he is being sponsored for the North American Collegiate Eating Championship in San Diego, California. That contest will take place on April 19. He says he was contacted by IFOCE last month, so this might be an IFOCE contest.

I never ask for anything, but if this is IFOCE related I’m the only ranked undergrad in a NCAA Division 1 school that I know of… I better be in this.

Why should you not go if it isn’t a IFOCE event. Wouldn’t a self respecting Philly Guy guy be against signing contracts that don’t give you anything..thought Philly was a Union town

i’m pretty sure there are other ranked ifoce eaters that go to division 1 colleges

Granted, he is a graduate student, but doesn’t Joey Chesnut go to SJSU, which is a DI school? I heard he’s pretty good.

What foods are served? How does this contest work? Is it a progressive eatinf contest, timed eating, or just put your head in the bowl and keep eating until ther nothing lef?
I really have no idea but I want to attend…
Please fill me in.
