The PhillyBurbs blog reports that Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, NJ will host a hot dog eating contest on Sunday. The first prize is a $1,000 trip voucher.
update Press of Atlantic City reports the contest is for amateurs only and that a Nathan’s qualifier will be held at the Trump Plaza on Memorial Day weekend next year.

Guess some IFOCE folks wish they could use the $1,000 trip voucher to go to the Krystal qualifiers.

Some AICE guys with they had a purse as big as Krystals. There are pros and cons to every decision. If you get into the final, odds are unless you live somewhere really remote, you’ll break even.
