There are three other IFOCE contests this weekend, but I guess they don’t matter, as there is no prize money involved.

the story at your link on Gorske’s Big Macs says 23,000, not 36,000. that’s a difference between about 2 a day vs about 3 a day. still lots of calories, fat & cholesterol per day!

if you are referring to Hall Hunt being in 3, you are correct there are three other ifoce contests this weekend but why would hall mention them… two are krystals, hes already in, and the cannoli is in ny and offers no purse so why should he even mention the other three?!?

One of the IFOCE contests in nyc involves zero dollars but somehow the Shea’s will find a way to profit from it or they wouldnt’ be doing it in the first place. Don Lerman will serve as honorary judge meaning that he wont have the final say in the verdict but have the distinct honor of bringing out more canoli’s and water for the eaters. . They gave him the title of judge to make him feel important .Hardy or an official judge will actually count the debris and declare the actual winner.

i just talked to Kate and as of right now Grits is still on,they are probably waiting to see what happens with Ike,H.A.N.D. 🙂

Do you think they might wait untill sunday to have the grits eating contest? I live about 20 miles from Louisiana Downs but if the weather is bad I won’t be going. I don’t want my car to stall out.

2nd and 3rd place finishers got a chance to shine where as if Tim Pat & Joey had showed they would have made them look like shit as usual . Tainted totals if you ask me
