    DId colectively eating 100lbs of food the past few weeks hold PB & JC back? Or did Janus just kick the grits out of them? Could’ve been the consistency of the grits, wind, humidity, …hurricane IKE and is forcasted path right at Bossier??? All factors…all legitimate. Nonetheless, good work to X beating #1 & #2. What happend to BOB?

    Didn’t JC & PB collectivly eat over 100lbs in the past few weeks? I think they were tired… hurricane preocupation surley played a factor as well. Heard the grits were cold. None-the-less Eater X’s victory is not any less glorious.Congrats Tim! Is everyone making it to chicago? Heard fights are a bitch, hope you guys aren’t rotten gamblers, gonna be there for a while.     Any input from anyone who was there as to why the totals were so low this year? Last year, Tim ate 20 pounds of grits and Pat ate 21.

    There they go with these anonymous, cowardly postings again. You all are just jackasses who want to make trouble. Hall Hunt is a refreshing voice that brings positivity to an otherwise negative, asshole-laden blog. Hall would never use that language, but I sure as hell will. It’s the truth.

    Due to weather-related problems, I did not attend the grits eating contest. My electric power went out Saturday and did not come back on until last night.
