Darron Breeden, 3rd place finisher in Sunday's Nathan's qualifier in Norfolk, has a youtube channel with a video of that contest. In May, he was denied the $500 prize for Benny DeLuca's pizza challenge because the restaurant considered him a "professional" even though he had not previously done an eating contest.

Darron try to go to DC! Is that near? You could win or secure the wild card if you eat just some more.

I didn’t realize there are people that make Joey Chestnut seem like he’s exciting. I fell asleep twice while attempting to watch this video.

This place is so dumb. They changed their rules and such so many times. Originally the official printed challenge was anyone can do it. Eventually everyone will be pro to them.

Yeah, it was upsetting to say the least. I honestly would have done the challenge for a free t shirt, but it’s the fact that they didn’t honor their prize that I find frustrating. What it really boils down to is the principle of it.

Pablo and most likely Erik Denmark are going to DC. It would be tough for Darron for sure.

Na, I doubt I’ll be going to DC. I do intend on participating in future eating contests though!

I certainly hope that it isn’t Beautifulbrian himself who posted the comment at 12:18 am. Never having gotten even close to 20, the comment is either sarcastic or Brian is setting himself up for both disappointment and being mocked. That is just the way it is. You should never offer up a high number unless asked by press and even then, saying you will do your best is good enough.
