    Remember the previous #50 was only kept as a pity spot out of fear that he may do harm to himself or others if he got tossed from the league sooner.     Remember when the former 50th ranked eater would give you an excuse every time he competed? The tempature wasn’t right, the consistincey wasnt good, I just did a number on a Chinese buffet and my tummy ached, no other eaters would give me a ride to the contest

    #50 worked his way all the up from 70 to 30 to 15 in 2004 . They dropped him all the way down to 50 because they didnt like him. Had nothing to do with his eating ability

    People who liked his website at first began to dislike many of the things he wrote, personal things, things which with common sense should not have been shared. Then he really went on the attack. First one, then another and another until no one was left who liked him or his website. Maybe someone new got taken in at first, but soon they wised up. I only remember once maybe he wrote names of people who bought his CD. Those people were supporting him, pity support or not. He never thanked many people for their help. And he never went to an afterparty because he kept saying he was a journalist-no press were allowed at that party ever. He was dropped down to 50 because he was a lousy eater and because he was a royal pain in the ass, always complaining. It’s a wonder MLE kept him as long as they did.

    I bet nobody ever knew that Allen Goldstein would smile in everyone face and shake their hand at contests showing up with his one and only friend his wife who was basically nothing more than a marriage of convenience , and then talking loads of shit about each and every eater who competed against him. For example “I cant take that oil booker is wearing driving me nuts” “Wild Bill looks bigger than ever could barely get on stage” Then he would talk smack about how hot dog contests being fixed in Rios favor. The list goes on and on then he would complain constantly about Jarvis calling him 10x a day “WTF does he want he calls and says nothing ” . Really who does Goldstein like? Maybe his imaginary friend with the boat perhaps?

    MLE has no conception as far as ranking eaters There are several eaters ranked near bottom that should be ranked in the top 30 or maybe higher The first 23 i wont argue then it becomes sketchy to say least. Ranking Conti at 24 is a joke . Greg wilson a solid eater at 28 should be ranked higher than mele & prettyman who belong in the 40s instead of 26th and 27th 29th eater cant eat her way out of a paper bag . Lyon at 30 should be in the top 20 or higher . 34 &35 should be ranked in the late 40s both are not very good . 37-40 should be in the top 30 or higher. At 41 gebhard shoul be ranked 49 if i had a say in it . 42 jim reeves should be ranked in top 30 43& 44 are right where they belong 45 shouldnt be ranked period Nasty Nate 46 & 47 Joey P are top 30 eaters 48 -50 are right where they belong or maybe shouldnt be ranked at all

    Seiken dumped his website before he was removed from the rankings in 2016 The sheas thought process was now that his website is gone who needs him? He was putting up shitty numbers anyway . He competed in a 2017 nathans qualfier only because it marked his 20th anniversary since his first nathans contest in oceanside Then he quit mle for good and compted in a few dumpling contests until he retired from eating in 2019 after one last nathans qualifier

    At one time brian site was the only site in town . Everyone in compet eating flocked to his website for the latest news and gosip OJ promoted the site as much as he promoted his own site It wasnt until 2010 ish that things took a turn for the worst He went overboard and spoke in a negative fashion about certain eaters with MLE including family members and some of the comments referred to their overall hygiene. Those eaters who claim to have been offended by his remarks began firing back on this site because his site did not have a feedback or comment section for them to vent frustrations .In person he was a very quiet low key friendly individual He made no money running his site nor did he ask for monetary contributions He might have charged $3 to watch his podcast and some eaters were more than happy to support him One in particular was Pat Bertoletti When he released his CD stick to blogging several eaters including Dave Goldsein took $20 out of their pocket to buy it . Even Mike Castellano MC gladly payed $20 as well I am not Brian just a die hard fan

    There was a much better time on eatfeats when there was agreement not to mention or involve family members or others than the eaters in comments. Brian Seiken contributed more gossip and lies than most on his own site and here. Now it seems he has taken upon himself to continue to repeat ancient gossip and lies on eatfeats. That is a shame as it makes this site toxic. There are many close friendships among the eaters. Most do not post here or even read. 8:55, you could only be Brian. You are transparent.

Midway into the meal or at the end she would cut out with an excuse that she had to be somewhere without contributing her portion of the tab leaving them to foot the bill Go ask former eater Damon Wells and his GF Eva Ramirez if you believe She made plenty of dough 1k- 2k completing all those pizza and burrito challenges . Good thing she completed them because there was a fee if you failed and she would probably come up with an excuse not to pay it The crem de la crem was (although not confirmed) was when she had her sites set on competing in wingbowl in 2013 0r 14 She was so positive she would win, that she wanted to eliminate anyone that posed a threat to her chances of winning She sent an email to angelo cataldi who ran wingbowl citing reasons as to why Molly should not be allowed to compete . She went under the name Brian Seiken LOL like he gave a rats ass who competed in wingbowl Sudo text Seiken asking if he sent the email he was like whhhhat? Molly bent on revenge was able to locate the source but not the name turned out the IP was west coast related Seiken did not reside in west coast Unbelievable what some people will go to the extreme to get what they want. For all her failed efforts Molly competed and blew out the competition

    i was going through the seiken goldstein comments and noticed the name pete stinky miernicki was mentioned Another true legend of the sport who put up numbers beyond those of mortal men He retired in 2009 after failing miserably in the eyes of his parents True story he was tormented by the fact that Brian Seiken was ranked ahead of him that he nearly committed suicide and began seeing a therapist and told her about Seiken In his next to last nathans contest in atlantic city she accompanied him to the event After the contest she put her arms around him in an attempt to console him and both of them walked away. He competed in one last nathans qualifier in Fla and called it a career To this day he is sorely missed
