The Good, The Bad, The Hungry, an ESPN documentary about the rivalry between Joey Chestnut and Takeru Kobayashi will debut at the Tribeca / ESPN Sports Film Festival Gala in New York City on April 26. Tickets will go on sale March 26.

    why is it such top secret info as to how much the Shea brothers make on July 4th with ESPN.? Of course they will make the argument that it is none of our business yet if competitive eating is considered a sport with top notch viable athletes, then why is the public always made aware of the salaries of athletes in other sports such as pro basketball baseball and football? The answer is plain and simple . Competitive eating is not a sport but more like a cheap circus act run by a couple of clowns who take home a nice six figure paycheck for a couple of hrs of work (if thats what you call work) on independence day

    Why would anyone think that they are entitled to know what the Shea Brothers make? Salaries are not public knowledge in all instances. What is of interest here is that Joey and Takeru are in the same film, presumably to see what each thinks of the other, what future each sees for himself, and who else was interviewed for the film.

    the shea brothers and that stupid fuckin contract that aint worth the price of a sheet of paper . They should have let kobe get up on the stage instead of making asses of themselves by arresting him. Then they turn it around by saying hes scared to face Chestnut . Hes not scared you wont let him

    Koby made an ass of himself. If he wanted to compete, he could have, but not after the contest. But an arrest? If anyone else stormed the stage would they have been arrested?

    We know that. But that was his choice. Therefore, no need to storm the stage. That was plain stupid. His “manager” got it all wrong. And that arrest could have put his visa into question.
