George Shea did an interview on the Hochman & Crowder Show yesterday (starts 14:30) about today's Nathan's qualifier at the Miami Marlins ballpark (Pablo Martinez is the only mentioned competitor). The most intersting part of the interview is about the documentary "The Good, The Bad, The Hungry", premiering at the Tribeca Films Festival Friday, which the MLE commissioner says portrays him as a villain.

    GS and Nathan’s made sure to never give Kobi his just due. Kobi helped grow Nathan’s by 10’s of millions if not more and they gave him $30,000 each year. That’s an incredible insult but after all when it comes to money and Jewish people you know the story.

    Shea brothers are not Jews I think a low ranked eater got himself in trouble for making that insinuation some years ago. What bothers me is when George Shea is interviewed in these documentaries which are better suited for movie screen in an old age bungalow colony , and he says “Kobe can compete against Joey anytime he wants but hes scared ” Bullshit you threw him out of the organization and had him arrested when he tried to get on stage and then turn it around with outright lies

    at one point there were 5 jews in the IFOCE Lerman Goldsteins Koch and Seiken one of which claimed he was blackballed because of his religion which i found furthest from the truth There was also 2 black in the IFOCE Hardy and Booker who had the red carpet rolled out for them by the Sheas I never saw the Sheas as anti semites but in my opinion they picked their favorites and we all know who they were . Matter fact one of the jews got more than he deserved compared to the others. When he retired they gave him a special day and an award in Coney Island . He was also the subject of 4 documentaries Big Eats Gutbusters Eats of Strength and Airplane . He recieved his just due and then some and still bitched and complained it wasnt enough

    no what? The film is playing at the Boston IFF this upcoming weekend. It is probably playing at several film festivals. If you do not live in New York or Boston, check your area.

    I could not bare to listen to more than 30 seconds of George Shea because he is so awful. Opie and Anthony put him into perspective way back in 2006 on their show which is on YT. In that 30 seconds of which i listened to then shut off, he kisses Badlands ass as usual and promotes his badlands chugs youtube page which is nice but i can’t see him making any real money with YT unless he does eating stunts like Stonie. Watching someone chug down liquid is not appealing at all
