Drew Cerza will be a great emcee —- wise choice.

Why would Drew, founder of one of the two biggest chicken wing events, want to help his competitor? This would be like George Shea showing to help Arnie emcee an event. Odd.

Sheas want no part of this because there is no money in it for them or the two clowns made them an offer they had to refuse. Second best on the list was Drew

Can you explain yourself, Rhonda? I mean that’s a pretty enthusiastic comment you’ve made. What have you seen of Drew that would convince you of his abilities as an emcee?

Drew is an ok guy but somewhat cheap. He should have put everyone up in a hotel that competed in wings this past sept. Sonya and possibly one other ifoce member got special treatment

Good Eaters (quantities/showmanship/, etc.) get good treatment. Hotel/Airfare/etc.
The rest… you’re just filling the table….. they could get crap like you from the crowd.
What you did in the past is a non-factor.
And that’s how it should be.

He’s enthusiastic, a decent marketer, and he cares about people.

I believe Drew and the Sheas have a very good relationship. It wouldn’t look right (or feel right in the pocketbook) for George or Rich to overtly support a product that none of their eaters were invited to. But they don’t want to shun the event, because their eaters (and the money) will likely return in the near future —- perhaps next year. So having a professional friend do the due this year makes business sense. I’d have done the same thing.

And you reached those conclusions by…reading eatfeats and the IFOCE’s press releases?

When you were a child I suspect you often irritated your parents by constantly asking, “Why?,” and you just never really grew out of it.

Yeah, Rhonda. It makes perfect sense for Drew, founder of one of the two biggest wing eating contests around, to support the two jerks (Angelo and Al) who founded the other biggest wing eating contest around. Perfect sense.

I could swear this fucker that goes by “I” or ??? is Menchetti . I could just feel it. By the way where is Menchetti anyhow? Did he drop off the face of the earth or stopped competing because of furious pete?

I, “?,” see eye-to-eye with “I,” but I am not he and he is not me, “?.” Could “I” be Menchetti? Maybe. But “?” is not “I.” “?” is “?” and “I” is “I.”
I don’t know who “???” is.

I miss Rhonda. She turned my life around. She helped me broaden my narrow perspective. And when I turned around to thank her…Poof! She was gone.
