How could this be? An AICE event with Joey? Surely this means Pete is doing Nathans as well, some sort of trade-off. WTF?

Watch the rumors fly from this article. Boy would that set a heck of a precedent if it came to be.

Gotta be that Joey is doing this so Pete can do Nathans.

From reading both articles, it looks like it was a press release. Probably from the restaurant.
I don’t think any of the 3 are compEATing.
Expect a retraction &/or threats of lawsuits.

Is this more of Melissa Radovich’s accurate reporting? Will Rich or Juliet compete also? 🙂

actually the way pete has responded this whole time regarding these and related rumors is saying a whole lot more than the little b*tch is actually saying because he in the past has been very direct and not pulling any punches but now he is all clammed up so its clear something is up because usually he cannot keep his mouth shut

Kind of typical of the pattern I’m seeing with this guy – smug and condesending. Never met him, but I’m starting to think that might be my good luck.

I have yet to meet Pete. But my gues is he was being upfront until he realized he could get a rise out of all the “Helmets” on this site.

whatever – enjoy it while it lasts. The first time the two sit down together, Joey is going to tear him up

Is it truth? Does anyone know anything? Apparently Pete doesnt.

once i saw the names O’karma and Pete it became quite obvious that Joey’s name was added to the article by someone in aice. I would not even waste my time sending this to the sheas because they would not bother responding or tell you its the first they heard of it

I looked over at the AICE site, and Chowhound doesn’t list Pete or Joey in his notoriously inaccurate predictions.
Either way, I’d like to see Joey and Pete eat together. That would be very cool.

Clearly this was just the restaurants way of getting more attention from the media.

lt would be more coo, to see people of equal talent eat together, like Furious Pete and Juliet Lee or Hall Hunt.

Speaking of tacos…….. I’m taking “cinco de mayo” off work to be in 3 different jalepeno eating contests.
“seis de mayo” is going to be one “culo caliente” day for me!

What’s Wrong With Tupac Anon 10:46?

I agree Badlands. When Tupac passed the world lost a great music and acting talent. His 1995 (I think) hit, “How Do You Want It?” remains one of my favorite rap songs. It has a very sexy, catchy beat.
Tupac’s star shined very brightly during his short tenure on this earth.

sorry badlands no offense, i think that if your in the public eye you should be a good role model for kids, not be some lucky gangsta rapper with one good song (california love) ,im sorry but i think most rappers have no talent ,just luck…now i do like you becuase your stuff reminds me of when rap first came out and it was fun and catchy, not the same old song with a different hook, like every rap song these days….if it makes any difference i dont like country to much either…whatever happened to R&B?

Pete did a good job but this is like the computer televised fights of the 60’s It also reminds me of when they superimposed a young Muhammad Ali and his daughter in the boxing ring for a Nike commercial . Get used to it because i doubt Joey , Pat and Pete will ever get to face each other in real life. Comparing videos of their eating conquests is about the best you are gonna get at least for now
