Philly.com reports that Bill "El Wingador" Simmons will face off against Jose Conseco in a boxing match on July 24.

    Correction. I reported that news first on my website two weeks ago in bits and pieces. The article appeared in the daily news before philly.com even knew about it. Next time please give credit to the right sources

    Canseco desperate for attention is shelling out five grand from his own pocket to pay someone to get in the ring with him. How is he going to beat a chicken wing champ if he cant even beat a partridge family member?

    If Wingador is even in moderate shape, he will win!

    Wingador has the size & probably the strength to handle Canseco.

    Canseco’s already had his backside handed to him by Danny Partridge & an MMA guy.

    While Bonaduce may be in shape, he’s a small guy in stature.

    I disagree , Bonaduce is not built like Pete Miernicki anymore. I am sure Canseco would have kicked his ass when he was lipsyncing in the Partridge Family in the early 70’s but this is 2009. It starts out as just a publicity stunt but a mans pride and dignity take over when the bell sounds. I nor anyone else for that matter has seen Wingador compete in anything but eating. He claims to be street fighter but when was the last time he duked it out with anyone? Only Wingador has the answer. Maybe during his runs with the Sanitation Dept he dumped the garbage cans on the heads of some impatient horn honkers that objected to the garbage truck holding them up. As horrible as Canseco has looked in his previous bouts he has been active and regardless of the steroid use, he is ripped. I cant say the same about Wingador but anything can happen. I predict Jose in 5. Wing will still give us a good show.

    I hear “The Hangman” is not doing much in eating and might just beat up on Conseco for $500 and let Joe keep the rest of his $5,000 to help pay for his hospital bills.

    The Hungman comment at 12:24 is not the real Hungman. The Hangman has no plans of making a fool of himself in a boxing match. He is a pure championship eater of the IFOCE circuit and will not lower his standards. Why should a talented actor and entertainer such as the Hangman box when he puts a smile on so many faces already. Let’s get real people!
