Thanks guys and i believe i will keep the name because it suits the very odd person I am. Yes purple nails…… My mother is currently wheelchair ridden so consiquentialy i have to take her everywhere i.e. nail parlor where one thing led to another and when you have 5 hot women ad your mother egging you on it’s hard to say no. In retrospective I think they look rather nice and like the way my hands felt after the manicure.

    Joey,

17 minutes, you couldn’t have possibly put forth a lot of effort in that pizza when you did it back in 06’…

I think the more impressive feat was the Kitchen sink. I’d love to See Joey, Pat or Bob challenege the 7min 45second record.

Those scoops of ice cream were rock solid!

Hey Ben, do you know about how much the Belly Buster weighed? Also, I’m surprised you didn’t go for the Pepperoni to the 6th BB.

Dude, when you start HALVING records held by Top 10 ranked eaters, you know you’re ready for the big time. Good job. You should head up to Clearfield, PA to test yourself against some of the Denny’s burgers.

    Thank you for the complements!
I have no idea how much the belly buster weighed but to guage my capacity i ate two 5 pound burritos yesterday for lunch and appon completion i would have to say that i was at my limit or close to it. I am going to post more pictures online in a few minutes.

I am surprised that i did so phenominaly in comparison to Eric but i have to also contribute that to the fact that most likely he was not pushing himself to the limit. But none the less it does feel good to be able to assess my standing in comparison to an actual pro.

I was pushing myself but had competed in Asparagus earlier in the day and both Badlands and I shotgunned several beers (3 or 4 can’t remember) before doeing the challenge. But 6 minutes is still very impressive and I don’t know that I could have done better than 6 mins with normal prep. My name is spelled with a K by the way.

    Erik,

That’s what I figured when Ben and I (Damon Wells) were discussing if you were pushing or not, we saw the video and assumed the beer had a lot to do with it. Didn’t know you did Asparagus earlier, but that would explain why so many of you guys were there on the same night.

I wanted to take the challenege myself but I thought once ur an IFOCE eater the challenges are a no no… oh well.

I look forward to eating with you atthe same table one day.

Yeah like i said I’m an odd cat. Not often do you meet someone who is 6’8″, 248lbs., 11%BF, has an average Intelligence Quotient of 162, and all the other weirdo things that comprise my individual characteristics.

Well Ben no matter how tall, how heavy, how ripped or how smart you are, you are eating quite big amounts in short periods of time and that’s simply amazing, it would be interesting to see an eating match with Joey, Pete, Pat and you, very interesting, 1 hour as much as you can at a buffet being weighed before and after the contest an the one who gained the most weight wins, I am sure the winner could easily be close to 25lbs or even more, seeing the way you guys eat, I am pretty sure.

At this time it sounds like Movable Type is the preferred blogging platform available right now.
