Tiny’s Challenge
Dec 01, 2007The holidays are times when many of us – whether intentionally or not – overeat. But today one group is stuffing their stomachs to the max – all in the name of competitive eating. Niner’s diner in Nanty Glo serving up five helpings of Tiny’s Challenge this afternoon. It’s three pounds of ground beef – a pound of cheese – and a pound of toppings – complimented by five pounds of fries. Five eaters from across the state – one even as far as Brooklyn -taking on the challenge today. In the five-year history of Tiny’s Challenge only one person has been able to put down all ten pounds of food. For today’s eaters the challenge ranks up there with some of the best in the state.
