Rich: Please tell us how you make up the IFOCE rankings. Because, OBVIOUSLY, it has NOTHING to do with how well eaters perform. Instead, you and your brother make up the rankings so as to maximise the amount of money YOU make. How do you calculate rankings at IFOCE? PLEASE TELL US? You obviously do NOT calculate TRUE rankings. The only calculations you and your brother do is how to make the most money. IFOCE is a joke.

Rich Shea and his brother only want to make money. The IFOCE rankings that the Shea brothers make up have NOTHING to do with reality. Only with how much money they (the Shea brothers) expect to make. The Shea brothers are even bigger liars than Dale Boone…

You just have to love the fervent cheat-beating and hand-wringing on this site. I’ve said it before, just as has Rhonda Evans – what the hell do you think you’re doing here? You really, REALLY, have no f’ing clue do you? The IFOCE, MLE, Shea Communications, the sponsors, their household pets, their children, ex-wives and casual accquaintences have never, I repeat never, said a damn thing about this being anything but what it is. This isn’t a charity organization. Are you all completely illiterate or will you just sign any paper that put in front of you? I’m guessing the latter, but…

If you have a “fairness” problem, or a problem with a company succeeding at their mission to make money, then you need to take a lesson. I suggest speaking with someone like GJoe or Coondog O’Karma. Maybe they can give you a little dose of real-world reality.

Why aren’t the top eaters lining up to chime in here about this “horrible injustice?” It’s simple, just like you are. It doesn’t concern them, just like it shouldn’t concern you. Read the paper you signed, idiots. If you want to play the game for the fun of playing it, then that’s exactly what you should do. Live it up. If you have any other expectations, I recommend bowling. Bowling seems pretty “fair.” With bowling, you can stay close to home and complain about the owner making his rent money off you.

Holy God if you’re ever screwed out of a promotion at work – everybody hit the floor. Wise up.

Obama has declared a Federal Ban on harvesting oysters there. The news say oysters have to be imported and have more than doubled in price. Fisherman and others in that area are losing there job. How will they feel if a bunch of people eat as many oysters as they can while others are losing their oyster business. Should make for some interesting news bites on CNN. Even if Sheas dobnate $50,000 to the local food bank, the news will spin it as whatever they want.

Here’s an IFOCE-like rule, which perhaps can be adopted:

Forty dozen oysters should be the minimum acceptable winning total. If the winner eats less than that no prize money should be paid.

The ban is why they are losing their business not the oil spill. The big story on CNN was a about an oyster farm that was almost shut down, but not really shut down. Also someone had to buy the oysters they will be eating. It is not like the Sheas will be hijacking a truck for the contest.
