MASNSports.com has video of a donut eating contest where Baltimore Oriole outfielder faced off against a fan who submitted won a contest after submitting a challenge idea. update Sept 9 The Suffolk News Herald has an article about the contest.

    That AL All Star, Gold Glove-winning, Orioles player is Adam Jones. He interacts with contest-winning fans all the time. The winner of the next contest, for example, will win free batting lessons from AJ, who’s a .300 hitter with 30 home runs this season.

    He must have a good metabolism, because he loves to eat and stays fairly slim and in excellent shape. He tweets about food all the time.

    He has a lot of, and a very good, heart. You (or at least I) can’t help but to like him. He’s a very respectful, omnipositive, down-to-earth guy, whose behavior represents the antithesis of the tone of many of the comments here.
