The AICE website (Aug 21 entry) reports that eaters in that organization will no longer be bound by a contract restricting them from competing in non-AICE contests.

I applaud the decision of aice to return to its most basic principle.
Its shameful they abandoned it in the 1st place.

They were bound before? I didn’t know that. I always thought that was one of the basic freedoms offered by AICE membership. Odd that they would have taken that away.
