    Is the point of this request so that Grace Lee can have a competitor for an upcoming challenge? If so, I am getting tired of the trite theme of small, petite woman beating gigantic male in eating contest.

    Stephanie: I don’t see what is so trite about Sonya going up the best eaters in the world, male or female, and displaying her god-given talent of incredible eating skills. It’s not some “theme” someone thought up, it what she does — she just happened to the first and many women such as yourself should be grateful for the roads she opened for you. And, Stephanie if you think you can bring more excitement to CE than Sonya, why don’t you one day go up against her someday and find out what she is really about when she steps up to the table.

    wow, ok let me get this straight… Grace Lee is looking for the largest male so the annihilation in eating could never look so more lopsided in a david vs. goliath kind of way. What does this have to do with Sonya? Joey Chestnut is a large male. Sure he isn’t 400 lbs but the man is fairly large.

    Booker is large, that Philbin dude looks pretty big too, and I guess a few others. Size is irrelevant in eating, actually smaller people often have the advantage of being in better shape. People with more girth might have slightly bigger stomachs, but maybe not. The stomach is constantly changing in size, elastic.

    I don’t understand the point. Give me a 400-500 lb man and I can embarrass him too, i don’t see the point in this. No disrespect to Sonya or Grace Lee. There are some great female eaters out there and i don’t understand the point of putting them against above average eating large men.
