IFOCE.com announces registration for the two contests at the Buffalo Wing Festival Labor Day weekend will open tomorrow, July 30 at 1 pm eastern. Registration for the Isle Casino World Pickle Eating Championship in Pompano Park, Florida will open Monday at 2 pm.

    From someone who would like to see Brian Seiken get the recognition he desires, something which would bring fans back to his site. This is a kind suggestion and the perfect opportunity for you. Please, from someone who used to be a great fan of yours, consider registering for the pickle contest and give it your all. Please do not grandstand about being flown in or getting anything in advance or being the pickle champ which you are. Just register on Monday and go for it. Show us your best and that will bring out the best in others. Please. I’m rooting for you.

    It would be nice to see the IFOCE fly out Pickle Champ, Beautiful Brian Seiken, for this one. He would probably not demand much of an appearance fee, as he is a fan favorite. He does it all too, videos, commentary, Elvis, eating. Brian Seiken is one of the true legends of the sport of competitive eating. I would pay just to see him!!!

    If anything Ed Jarvis was the true pickle eating champ and he holds the record for most pickles consumed in 5 min 2.96lbs. The reason he never got the pickle recognition he deserved was that he had so many other titles that pickles was basically overshadowed by the others. IFOCE would never fly Seiken out to Fla. Maybe in 2004 but not 2010. No way no how
