The twitter for Big Mama's & Papa's pizza in Los Angeles reports that an attempt at the 54 inch square pizza challenge was made today. 23 slices were left over after the attempt, the smallest amount so far.

    This particular challenge pizza was half-mushroom and half-pepperoni. The weight was unclear, since the restaurant owners could not say precisely and no one involved had brought a scale!
