I thought that with the advent of HDTV the tv specials i was involved with such as Pumpkin pie & Title rally would take off but it layed a big egg as far as im concerned. It still targets the upper class and yuppie population. Your average joe still refuses to shell out the big bucks for HDTV and the programming included. The same old bunch at my job that runs to me after they have seen me for 5 seconds on 20/20 or ESPN , were not around with the “can i have your autograph” when these shows aired on HDTV. The above shows i just mentioned would have done very well on network tv.
