Erik “the Red” breaks spot shrimp record
Erik “the Red” Denmark’s attempt at the spot shrimp record should be coming up on http://www.kjram.com/ in a few minutes. Ray “the Bison” Meduna is serving as judge.
7:56 Erik dedicates his performance to the Washington Huskies and puts on a purple bandana.
7:59 The contest starts. Erik is using hot sauce.
8:00 The house band starts and the station cuts to commercial.
8:10 the station returns from commercial and Erik has broken the record with 1:30 left
8:12 the contest ends with the record broken. The station has yet to announce the amount.
8:26 back from another long commercial break – Erik is credited with 4 lb 15 oz. Erik says he feels great. Ray “the Bison” Meduna says the record is certified. Erik says he thinks he might have used too much cocktail sauce. Erik will do the Texas State Fair jalapeno contest next.

What the hell kind of word is “congrag”? The full word is “congratulations” which can be shortened to “congrats”. Not “congrag”. If the word was “congragulations” OK but it is not.

Erik ate with Poise and Power from start to finish.
This was no easy Record to break.It took everything Erik had and I am very proud of his New World Record.

Denmark is a class Eater.I heard he dedicated his World Record to His Mother that is a Breast Cancer Survivor and 2nd to the husky Football Team that came from behind to beat UCLA .
Denmark is a World Class Eater and has a World Class heart.
