Yahoo! Shine has a blog entry about former anorexic Matthew Booth from Manchester, England who has gained 110 pounds since he dropped to 60 pounds. He credits "Furious" Pete Czerwinski with inspiring his recovery after his heart stopped for 20 minutes.

Even I, no fan of Pete’s, think that’s very cool. Good job, Pete, and great job, Matthew.

Excellent story. Pete put it out there when he could have kept it quiet. He has had some abuse for it. I think stories like this make it all worth while. Pete, well done
Mate.

So whats so earth shattering about someone heart stopping? It happens all the time and doctors are able to get it going 70% of the time when they are being operated on. Ever hear that same redundant line “the priest was called in to give last rites” as to make the story more dramatic? I have heard and seen more people released from the hospital after that “last rites” crap than you can imagine
