"Furious" Pete Czerwinski's facebook announces that he ate a 72 ounce steak (meat only, no sides) in 6:48, which will be recognized by Guinness as a world record. Pete also won a contest to guess the number of OMG burgers sold by The Catch restaurant in Anaheim.

    I notice on facebook that several IFOCE members are friends with Pete. That is a no no for you will risk suspension corresponding with someone that is not affliated with your organization

    lol I Am Watching about IFOCE members risking suspension for being friends with Furious Pete on Facebook. How hilarious would it be if the IFOCE started dictating who you can and can’t be “friends” with on Facebook? Next, IFOCE members aren’t allowed to watch Man vs. Food because it “supports unsanctioned restaurant challenges specifically forbidden under section 127-A of the MLE contract.”

    If you are an IFOCE member you should not be allowed to correspond with outsiders like Furious Pete let alone make him your facebook buddy. That is obsurd. I would throw out every single member of the IFOCE if i caught one of them on his facebook page. You don’t see true loyalists such as CLC and Eater X on Furious Petes facebook page.
