I gave a small donation. I encourage others to do so as well. Despite loyalty lines, I think this is a great gesture. Even if you have a buck is better than nothing.

    Good luck Pete.

in a sick way i would like to see the dollar amount for the cost of food be more than donations… i think that would be delightfully ironic.

Furious Pete does more for good causes than any other competitive eater. Thanks for covering this and I encourage even more coverage of the greaest superstar ever in competitive eating.

Hey Anonymous @ 6:02, don’t be a jerk and assume Pete does more for “good causes” then any other eater. What he is doing is awesome and I commend him for it, but you have no idea what other eaters do for charity work.

Great job for eating the McDonalds food for Charity. I watched the video and saw your pain. I appreciate
what a great warrior you are that goes beyond competitive eating. Also, shame on Mc Donalds for not
letting you film it. They could of made you sign a waiver to protect themselves.

Sigh… i’ve been waiting months for this video, and you’ve got to be kidding me. Typos in the beginning? Ridiculous camera work? Don’t go through all that trouble if it’s not going to be reasonable to watch.

#1) Have a friend tape this… don’t leave it up to a digital camera.
#2) The camera cutting off is terrible for your rep. I could have eaten the entire value meal menu in that time with a camera conveniently shutting off.
#3) Show the food being eaten and film the wrappers etc… it looks like a hot mess where you were sitting and couldn’t tell what you ate.
#4) You have people donating to a cause. At least reward them with watching you terrorize the food!
#5) Don’t speed things up, we’re willing to wait. Eating absurd amounts of food is awesome and worth every second.
#6) Do it again, and do it right this time. Prove to the world you can do it instead of amateurizing every moment of it.
    #7) I disagree, the filet-o-fish is amazing.

I would love to see this done, and done right. A true eater wouldn’t have pulled a haphazard stunt like this, you need to make sure you have your back covered when you start especially for a cause! Have a crew to film, setup a time with McD’s to do it (they should know about you ahead of time) and eat like mad!

I agree that my taping of this stunt was terrible and I should have prepped more. I did not film this the way I wanted too initially, but I had been bombarded with so many things that week (school, family health probs etc) that I didn’t really even see the date coming sort of speak.

The Typo at the start was a retarded mistake on my part and I could reupload I guess, but no real point.

Every person that watches a video of mine usually speeds them up or fast forwards…If you want a video of the full time frame that can be arranged so you can hear my commentary.

Doing it again? I rarely eat McDonalds…and the movie SuperSize me became reality in that short time frame, so it will take a lot for me to do it again.

I stand by my word that the filetofish is gross.

yeah i would have to agree.. except with #7.. i kept thinking 2 things when seeing the video..
    1. does pete have any friends to tape this? and
    2. wtf did he really eat? not saying he could not do this, but the video showed pretty much nothing..

Wasn’t thinking doing this the day before the start of spring break (Reading Week). Most people were gone, and I thought that the actual taping would have come out better. Was a shitty job, but what can I do right now? I won’t be doing this stunt again for awhile thats for sure, but I know what I have to do for future charity stunts.

Wasn’t my intention to make it look misleading or what not. Never is.

Pete, you know what, I just read what i wrote, and it looked like i was giving you a hard time. That’s not what I intended. I was merely trying to point out what you can do better for the future to avoid any skepticism. I support the sport 100% and want credible people getting the respect they deserve. I hope that helps man. GL!
