If Joe LaRue wasn’t going around saying he wanted to start a new competitive eating league, he could compete with IFOCE.

.Joe LaRue never said he wanted to start a new league. All he wanted to do was to organize the eaters as a whole, thus allowing them to have a say in the future of competitive eating. A few of the people involved in CE, maybe some current, maybe some retired (maybe it was you 11:36) saw this as a threat and took their lies to whoever would listen. Why should same eaters continue to make money while 2/3 of the field goes away with nothing? Face it the contests are out there, a lot less will be joining for the opportunity of fame and fortune that is promised, While they can do it locally themselves. At this point in time LaRue really doesn’t care that he isn’t a mle eater if you look at his earnings he has made more this year than any year prior.,,,,,,, 12:21 if you’re tired, take a nap ,,, LaRue doesn’t look like he’s going away soon.

The only reason Seiken doesnt walk away from the IFOCE is because writing about eaters that are not in MLE is no fun at all. Just think abut it ? Would you get the same thrill writing about Go go curry and $500 curly fry leftover contests that MLE had no further use for ?
