The facebook page for Tony & Alba's Pizza and Pasta announces that Joey Chestnut and three others will attempt the Coliseum team pizza challenge tonight. update The team consisting of Joey Chestnut, Matt Stonie, Doug Blacksill and Christian Hill completed the challenge.

    I guess challenges are allowed for MLE eaters now. Apparently Matt Stonie was there as well.

    I doubt it 1122 MLE must be getting a piece of the action or stonie probably thought if he does the challenge with Joey there is no.way he will get thrown out of the IFOCE

    I think it’s bad ass.. Joey rarely does challenges not to mention he is number one or two eater on earth anywhere anytime. With Jaws there and Megatoad as back up this challenge didn’t stand a chance!

    Maybe Joey just said screw it and wanted to do something different. If he gets tossed by the Sheas then we could finally see Pat win on the fourth! Go Pat!

    The top top are absolutely not so stupid as to do something without MLE’s approval. If I am wrong, I will eat pizza. Go Pat or I would put my money on Janus.

    Nope, guess I have to eat pizza. Above links work fine on Facebook. Joey and Stonie (who probably did follow Joey), not smart. All that free publicity for Tony and Alba. On the other hand, people have to eat before a contest or anytime. Maybe this is good, MLE should tweak their contracts and slip smart food in with the nitrates. When MLE eaters or any eat out and an establishment recognizes them (has to be place recognizes eaters) and asks to take photos or even say so and so ate here, let them say so and document. But eaters, you are fools to team up with anyone or by yourself do a challenge. Seems to me that is a clear violation. Lay off the alcohol and immature behavior, smarten up, just more common sense, DUH.

    Eaters can recieve permission by MLE to do occasional outside events. It does happen.

    Stonie always talks about all the opportunities he’s missing out on by signing with MLE . Now he finally got his wish. I don’t think he would have done it without chestnut
