Kobayashi congratulates Tampa Rays

Kobayshi has a blog entry congratulating the Tampa Rays on winning the American League pennant last night. In 2007, Kobayashi attended the Rays fan festival (then called the Devil Rays) and also recorded a commercial with infielder Akinori Iwamura.

Hall Hunt appeared at the 2008 Rays fan festival and did a hot dog eating exhibition.

    How nauseating is US Male and this contstant Philly this, Philly that. He exemplifies their teams as well, always gets close, but can never win. ENOUGH about Philly already, it’s a sweathole city, with high crime, high unemployment, and sports teams that haven’t won anything since the early 80’s. Give it a rest.

    Hey Truth Hurts, go fuck yourself. I am a proud, dedicated fan of all Philly teams and have been for 40 years. If you don’t like me bragging about Philly, tough shit. Do something about it but of course, you will hide behind a fake name because you are chicken shit. Some of the guys from other big cities enjoy the friendly ranting and raving, especially when our teams play each other.

    I also served my country for 13 years in the Armed forces and think I deserve the right of free speech as much as ANYBODY else on here

    By the way, stay out of Philly because I’ll kick your ass if I see you around.

    Hi Male and SyKo. That should be a really good series. However … I think the Rays have just a tad too much speed on the base paths and in the outfield. But the Phillies are one tough team!

    US Male, you definitely deserve a pat on the back for serving our country, and you do have the right of free speech. However the point is, no one cares about Philly. And I also noticed in your reply that you didn’t address the point that you are like all your Philly teams, a whole bunch of also-rans.

    Let’s take a look: Eagles have not won a championship since 1960.
    Philles have not won a championship since 1980.
    Sixers have not won a championship since 1983.
    US Male has never won anything.

    In fact the most “successful winner” in Philly history is fictitious, Rocky Balboa. LMAO.
    Philly and Philly fans are a punch line at best.

    We actually know that already. If you spend some time here you’ll realize we dont give a sh*t. We throw iceballs at Santa Claus because he’s from out of town. We cheat and lie to try to beat Joey Chestnut when he comes here for Wing Bowl. We purposely forget to wash our hands after doing Number 2.

    Our fans know our sports and we hold our teams feet to the fire when they suck ass. You’re going to need earmuffs when someone from our town finally wins something, it’s going to be loud. Dont expect US Male to go away quietly.

    Oh now look what I’ve started. The man who calls himself US Male, has a guy who wears a dress getting his back for him. I knew they allowed men and women to compete at the same time, I just didn”t think they’d let cross dressers in. Although Helen Haggerty did make a brief appearance. Also notice that the “Steak” stated that Philly guys “cheat and lie”, I hope MLE puts two judges on each of them personally, after all thats a full admission of cheating, none of their totals can ever be believed again. And last but not least if all Philly guys are cheating, someone should let Sticky Miernicki know he can cheat, he needs all the help he can get.

I loyally stick by my teams and I try my best at every competition. Isn’t that enough? As Steakbellie said, WHEN we win a championship, world beware. Our fans are like 2 balls that have never experienced sex; we are ready to blow.

    US … why must you take that “tone” with me. That’s right up my alley with some people, but I didn’t think you were in that camp. I’m confused.

    If you’re just excited or having a bad day I understand.

    Anyway, I thought the Phillies outplayed the Jays from start to finish last night, and they deserved to win. I’m actually surprised the game wasn’t a route. Hamels pitched an awesome game and Lidge is money in the bank when he gets in.

    However, one of the reasons I picked the Jays is because in Philly the fans are so brutal they start booing their own team if it doesn’t play up to the fans’ expectations. That will help Tampa should they be ahead late in a game at Philly, so Philly’s home field advantage will go by the wayside.

    Anyway, lighten up. My God, it’s just a game / series. Don’t set yourself up for disappointment. And I’m here to tell you, if you put all your eggs in the Phiilies winning the World Series basket, you’re in for a rough, though perhaps exciting, ride.

If you look closely at BB’s video of the Atlanta Krystals Qualifier, you can clearly see me very cleanly removing 35 Burgers, one at a time, and placing them in my cups.     Male, let me be totally candid and honest. Though I’m rooting for Tampa, in order for them to win I think they will need to win two games in Philly. Philly is by far the best NL team, and T-Bay, though a cinderella story, is the best in the AL.

    But Tampa is such a young team, and Philadelphia has more maturity and experience. I don’t know if they’re favored by the oddsmakers or not, but they should be.

    I would like to propose that OJ permanently ban “The truth hurts” and “Don Juan” from ever posting on this site. They are obnoxious individuals that take great pleasure in bringing down someone for showing allegiance to their home teams.     Just to clear things up, this only applies to the fans that actually live within the city limits. I am a half mile outside, and therefore exempt of the handwashing ban. I think it has something to do with the flouride in the city water.

    I wouldn’t mess with U.S. Male. Word has it that when a 350 pound pizza delivery driver was rude to hiim, that driver ended up in the hospital drinking his meals from a straw. At least wait until U.S. Male has eaten a bunch of food to provoke him, then perhaps you and your ten armed friends would have a chance.
