Please vote and pass the word. Since Kobayashi is the only eater on the list, regardless of affiliation, for the sake of the sport, I recommend bulleting for Kobayashi……I made my one vote count even though I am definitely a fan of Lisa Leslie. Merry New Year to all. Best, Crazy Legs Mom

C’mon Rona,
I’m an active participant & I don’t consider it a sport. Its only a sport in the broadest sense of the word. Its an activity or skill like Darts, Golf & Bowling. Thera are pro leagues for all, but none of those are really a sport either.

WHOOHOO! It’s working. But my printer is not, alas. I wanted to record this moment. With 60,000 plus votes cast, Takeru is in the top 5. And my Lisa Leslie is with him. Now to awaken all Japanese fans and get them to cast their votes via my posting the info on Kobayashi’s blog. It is indeed historic and Badlands, your latest album is terrific. Congratulations!

Someone is surely running some kind of “automatic” computer program, voting for whomever that person or persons wishes to succeed. Check how quickly the number of votes rises. Computer savvy people……vote with your brains. I do not think that our “finger” votes can make a dent in what is happening.

Yes, you are correct. But that is ESPN’s problem. I myself am getting Jimmie Johnson moved ahead of Kobayashi and Joe Mauer moved up out of last place. It looks like it has worked for both of them!

Not sure when the poll ends but Koby went from 1ST all the way to 22ND.
Koby went from center table, traveled to table ender status and now is seated at the kiddy table
